From the upper to the lacing to the sole, the Mont Blanc Pro GTX by SCARPA is made from top to bottom and from the inside to the outside for adventures at the mountains.
The weather protection of these versatile mountain boots starts with water-repellent suede, TPU and PU reinforcements on the outside and is complemented by the Gore-Tex® Insulated Comfort membrane on the inside, which provides more comfort, waterproofness and a higher heat retention. Thanks to SCARPA's Sock-Fit XT System, the shoes surround your feet like socks and provide a comfortable feeling, as well as additional protection against wetness thanks to the cuffs made of water-repellent and elastic material with EXO-YS TPU structure.
The SCARPA Blanc Pro GTX quick lacing system consists of plastic and metal elements and is divided into two sectors. In the toe area, the laces glide through eyelets, allowing the volume to be adjusted in a single movement. The upper section contains a shoelace block, which divides the lacing area into different tension zones and ensures a firm fit of the heel in the shoe. The final elements of the lacing system are hooks, which allow a homogeneous and progressive ankle wrapping and a comfortable fit without constriction.
The midsole of SCARPA's Mont Blanc Pro GTX consists of the Pro-fiber XT 20 ergonomic insole made of nylon XT + fiberglass with different thicknesses and stiffness and an EVA coated upper material. This provides maximum comfort, durability and anti-torsion properties. The Essential AC sole, designed by SCARPA® and developed in collaboration with Vibram®: the result is a precise, durable, lightweight sole that guarantees a comfortable fit.
